Ntombi Ntsibande is a photographer, born and raised in Tokoza, east of Johannesburg. She is passionate about documenting the world around her focusing mainly on environmental and social issues.
Biography
Ntombi studied the Advanced Programme in Photography at the Market Photo Workshop. She is known for her vivid storytelling and powerful images. Her work includes Through the windows, Waste pickers, Herbs and traditional healing, Climate Change-Air pollution and Abandoned. She's also been active and participating in local group exhibitions. A sensitive eye and an intimate relationship with her subjects are signatures of Ntombi's work.The aim is not only to draw the public's attention to ongoing social issues but to record the moments we experience and wish to preserve, the things we witness and might want reform, or simply the people or things we find remarkable
